As we study the Bible, even as a historical book, we will discover more about God, how He works, and how He helped His people. But it does not stop there; the Bible is still relevant today even though it was written thousands of years ago. You may wonder how that’s possible. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Therefore, the same principles that applied then still apply today and will continue to be relevant tomorrow. We will know and experience it as we read and study scripture.

God’s word is eternal and it is important to know His word to know His will. Without knowing God’s word you cannot get into a deeper relationship with God. Therefore, let us kick religion aside and make a real effort to read and understand God’s word every day.
