This blog collects user information directly and indirectly. By user, we refer to the visitor of the website who browses the website or clicks on links or subscribes to the mailing list. Your email and related information such as your first and last name will be stored for a maximum of 12 months for any future correspondence if necessary. We will delete your data after 12 months. However, if you have sent us an inquiry and also a subscriber, we will retain your personal data as long as you are subscribed. We will not use your email to send unsolicited emails or information unless it is part of your request. Further, will we not share your email with other third-parties for unsolicited use.

1.1.c Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Leaving comments serves two purposes: increasing blog SEO and increasing engagement. We encourage you to not leave any personal or highly sensible information such as bank account numbers or any such information on this blog in the comments.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

2.1 Social Media Sharing

Sharing content and increasing reader engagement is achieved using social sharing tools such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These sharing buttons are implemented by a third-party called Shareaholic.

When a user clicks on the social media icons present in this website either at the bottom of the posts or floating social icons found near the sidebar on the post pages, the respective social media platform receives information about pages or content on this blog being visited by you. This is solely used to optimize your web experience and used for analytics to understand which social media platform provides more success for this blog.

However, when you log in to your social media platforms, some personal information about you could be collected including your IP address, social media username, display image, and other related information by the social media buttons on this blog.  These buttons might function as web beacons even when you do not click on the button meaning that, they might collect your IP address automatically even when you don’t share our content.

This is a plugin that uses social media to share content. This plugin seamlessly integrates with Google Analytics and also uses content analytics to analyze how you as a user interact with this website. Content Analytics is obtained by using Google Analytics UTM Campaign Tracking which will permit this blog to understand how much traffic is received through social media, directly inside Google Analytics. Additionally, this plugin also displays advertisements on this website relevant to the content presented on this website and if you decide to click on the advertisement, the next time you visit this website, it will provide more relevant advertisements to you at no cost. 3. INFORMATION THAT WE COULD RECEIVE FROM OTHER SOURCES:

Information received from other sources will be automatically added to the prior information we have about you. If this blog decided to ever sell products to you as a user and if you are purchasing the products from this blog and are also subscribed to this blog, then this two information will be merged. The information from other sources could be your payment and billing information which we could use for record-keeping, customer support, or even identity information that will enable us to provide a safe and secure to you eventually.

How long we retain your data

We take measures to limit the processing of your personal information or retention. To do so we delete your personal data when the information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected unless it is required by law to maintain this information for a longer period.

1. Comments

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. However, upon request, we can cancel your details from this blog.

2. Google Analytics user Data and Event Data

Google Analytics user data and event data is retained for a maximum of 26 months. Your personal information will be retained for the period deemed necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless the law requires or allows a longer retention period.

3. Registered users on this website

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Again, we try to hold your data as limited as possible. While determining retention period and subsequent deletion we also take into the fact the impact of the services that are provided to you through this blog so that if we were to delete some information regarding you (from or about you) it would not have a huge impact. We also take into consideration the permissible and mandatory retention periods that are accepted by law.

4. Subscriptions

When users choose to subscribe to this website, the email address and related information to the email address such as first name and last name will be retained as long as the user is subscribed. If you wish to unsubscribe at any time, some personal data could be retained on the database in compliance with the law, that could be used for audits or reporting or also to provide you with feedback or information that you might request ultimately.

5. Contacts

The email address which is collected when you send us an email for inquiries will be stored only for the period that is necessary or the maximum limit permitted by law (usually a maximum of 12 months) that is needed for any future correspondence if any. A month before the expiration, we will send a notice to you that we will delete your data at the 12-month mark. At that point, if you wish you can renew your consent or the data would be deleted. However, if you are a subscriber the data would be retained as long as you are subscribed to this blog.
