This Will Change Your Perspective On Prayer

It’s been sometime since I have released any revelations from the Lord here. Today, I have a new revelation to share with you. Indeed, the Lord wanted me to share this with you. He gave me this revelation today while I was praying. It is a revelation about prayer and trust. As we will see later on, they both are interconnected.

This will change your perspective on prayer

I am putting out, here, word for word, what the Holy Spirit told me, including some words which were typed in capital letters even though my capslock was not on while I was typing in my notepad.

DISCLAIMER

None of the words in the following text are my own, except for the introductory (that you are currently reading) and concluding paragraphs. I am copying and pasting, from my notepad, exactly what the Holy Spirit told me, without making any changes to the original words. The only editing I have done involves fixing any spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors that I made while I was typing fast when the Lord gave me the revelation. Additionally, I have added captions, where appropriate, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

So, if you are ready, let’s begin!

How To Trust God

When it comes to trusting God, first, we must believe that He is God. Otherwise, it defeats the purpose. When you make petitions of God, according to His word, which is why the word is important, you must believe that He is able to perform His word unto you. These are not mere empty promises.

A Faith Perspective

Faith does not depend on how much you have prayed but on how much you trust the One you pray to, to be able to perfom what He said. Now, this changes everything and changes your perspective entirely.

HENCE WHEN YOU COME ASKING, believe that He is able to answer your prayer and therefore, thank Him for answering the prayer and receive His answer. This is what makes the difference. It is not your ability to pray using fancy or correct words but the intent of the heart, and what you are praying for, and if what you are praying for is according to the word of God, and to whom you are praying to. That makes all the difference.

A Trust Perspective

How can you go to someone whom you don’t trust for help? That just defeats the purpose. It is better not to ask that someone for help if you don’t even trust that person in the first place. Therefore, when you go to God trust that He is God. Trust Him. Without trusting Him, how can you ask Him for help?

A Example To Consider: How Prayer Works

If you have any material needs, to whom do you ask? Do you ask to any stranger on the road? No. You ask to someone who already has the thing you need and you ask to someone whom you know is willing to help you and you ask someone you trust.

A person on the road may have what you are asking for, but, if you don’t know him, you can’t ask him. You can ask, but it might not be successful. What if you know your best friend who has your best interests at heart has the very thing you need and you know fully well that he or she would be willing to help you? You, first, trust that person because he or she is your friend. Second, you know he or she has the very thing you need and would be willing to give it to you. Based on your trust in this person, because you already know him or her, you ask in perfect confidence. That is how prayer should be. When you go to God, first, you must know that He is God. It is not some trial and error.

How To Pray

First develop a relationship with Him. The more you develop your relationship with Him, you will trust Him. And, you will know that He has all the resources that you propbably need. If He doesn’t, He will create one just for you. So, you have perfect confidence in Him before you even begin to pray. Therefore, from this level of confidence and trust in Him, when you pray, He will answer, especially, according to His word and timing. He knows the perfect timing. He will send the things that you ask for when you need it. You might think you need it now, He knows it too, but He will send when you need it exactly. Because, He knows you better than yourself, afterall, He created you.

He knows the needs of every single creation of His, including the little birds and worms no matter how small or big they are. He is the one who feeds them. He knows the needs of all His creation and He is the Everlasting Provider. When you come to this level of understanding of whom He is as the provider then your perspective of Him will change. He is not there to get you or make you suffer. That comes from Satan, the devil. But, God the Father, is a provider to His children. He is a good Father. Just as a good father takes care of his children, that is how the Father takes care of His own. HE IS CAPABLE AND ABLE: So, now the big question is…do you believe Him? Ask yourself!

Conclusion

I am grateful to God for this revelation. I really hope it encourages you, as much as it has encouraged me, to strengthen your relationship with the Lord and prayer life by getting closer to Him with a new revelation and understanding. All praise and glory belongs to Him and Him alone.

Until Next Time, God-willing!
